Pimento, also known as Allspice or Jamaican pepper, is a dried, unripe berry, Its flavour is a natural phenomenon in that it combines flavours of nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves. Whole pimento is commonly used in jerk seasoning, curry powder mixtures, and Middle Eastern stews and meat dishes.
